Disney Opens its First West Coast Timeshare

On September 24th, 2009, Disney held it grand opening of its first west coast timeshare villas in beautiful California. This amazing California Disney timeshare resort is an expansion of the Grand California Hotel & Spa and celebrates the architectural and artistic style of California’s Arts and Crafts of the last 19th and early 20th centuries.
The expansion includes over 200 more hotel rooms and 50 timeshare villas. Two of the timeshare villas are luxurious grand villas with over 2,400 of square footage, spanning two stories high, and sleeps up to 12 guests, plus one of the villas features a two-story window view of Disney’s California Adventure Park.
The new Disney timeshares offer all the luxuries of home mixed with the magic of Disney. The villas are decorated with splashed of sages, pale yellow, and maroon and follow the same Arts and Crafts design of the rest of the resort. The wall paper and shower curtains design are integrated with classic Disney characters, in addition to Hidden Mickeys mixed into the carpet and woodwork.
Just like the other incredible Disney timeshares in Florida, this resort features an array of fantastic amenities and sensational restaurants, including the national renowned and award-winning Napa Rosa restaurant, as well as the Storyteller’s Cafe, where you and your family can enjoy a one-of-kind dining experience with your favorite Disney characters. The resort’s location puts you in the heart of Disneyland and gives you easy access Disney’s California Adventure park, Disneyland park, and the Downtown Disney District, which are all within walking distance. This California timeshare also offers two fabulous swimming pools, one is the Fountain Pool that bring forth a peaceful oasis with an artisan-
crafted turtle fountain and the Redwood Pool is where you can slide down a tree-themed waterslide.
Even though timeshare sales are struggling, Disney is hopefully and expects the new Disney timeshares to perform well and hopes to attract more Disney Vacation Club members that live closer to the west coast since over 86% of DVC members live east of the Mississippi River. Current Disney Vacation Club members will now have the opportunity to experience everything Disneyland has to offer for the first time in a luxurious Disney timeshare villa at Grand California Hotel & Spa.
